Jennifer Aniston is giving fans an inside look at the playful moment that went viral when she finally styled her longtime friend Courteney Cox’s hair.
Speaking about her partnership with haircare brand LolaVie, Aniston, 56, recounted how the memorable collaboration unfolded. “I just said please. Well, I just begged her,” the Morning Show star joked. “I said, ‘First of all, you have all these products in your bathroom and you don’t use them, and you’re just so lazy when it comes to your hair.’”
The hairstyling session took place during a weekend at Cox’s house. “We just had fun playing,” Aniston recalled. “She’s so much better at doing [social media] than I am, so it made it more fun for me. It just felt like we were having more fun together than me sitting in my bathroom making a video.”
In the clip, shared on LolaVie’s social media accounts on Friday, Sept. 5, Aniston uses products from her own line to give Cox a glamorous look. “This is the greatest day of my life. I get to finally blow-dry Courteney’s hair,” Aniston says, as the Scream star, 61, sits in her styling chair.
Aniston began with LolaVie’s Glossing Detangler, noting she had always wanted to try it on Cox’s hair. “She has this gorgeous head of hair, but there tends to be frizz on top,” Aniston explained. Cox responded with characteristic humor: “I don’t brush my hair, so the fact that you can get that comb through it like that is really a miracle.”
Next, Aniston used LolaVie’s Peptide Pumping Spray to add volume during the blow-dry, finishing the look with the brand’s Lightweight Hair Oil. The duo then posed for photos, celebrating the playful collaboration. LolaVie’s caption read: “the one where @jenniferaniston does @courteneycoxofficial’s hair for our 4th birthday 🙌 🎂 (and just in time for our birthday sale where everything is 20% off at LolaVie.com 😌).”
The session also coincided with the launch of LolaVie’s 12th product: the LolaVie Powder Perfect Dry Shampoo, which Aniston described as “a little Swiss Army knife.” “We wanted it to be a product that did more than just mask oil. It gives the roots a little lift,” she explained in an Aug. 5 interview.
In addition to LolaVie, Aniston continues to promote her partnership with fitness brand Pvolve. Reflecting on her wellness routine, she said she is now “much gentler” on her body. “We love each other now, as corny as that may sound,” she added.
Aniston serves as the face of Pvolve’s new campaign introducing the Longevity Bundle, inspired by her training regimen, which includes a travel-friendly Body Band. She is also helping launch Pvolve’s nationwide Strong for Fall Challenge, a three-week initiative featuring 10 strength-building workouts. For every challenge completed, Pvolve will donate $1 to Women in Medicine, blending fitness with philanthropy.
