Andy Cohen Slams Kim Davis Over Renewed Push Against Same-Sex Marriage

Bravo host Andy Cohen didn’t hold back in criticizing Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk, following her recent petition to the Supreme Court seeking to overturn same-sex marriage rights.

Davis first made headlines in 2015 when she went to jail for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Now, she’s back in the news, attempting to challenge the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling that guarantees marriage equality.

Cohen, known for his outspoken personality on and off the Bravo stage, did not hold back.

“Lady, you’ve been married four times to three different people, reportedly getting pregnant with husband number three while still married to husband number one,” he said. “And you want to lecture us on the sanctity of marriage?”

He continued, offering some pointed advice:

“How about you take your high-body-count hair, bigoted, bump-it ass to therapy to figure out your relationship issues before you try to nuke our basic civil rights. Overturn this, lady!”

In a dramatic visual flourish, Cohen even pointed his middle finger to the floor during his remarks, underscoring his frustration with Davis’ stance.

Social media commentary has echoed Cohen’s sentiments. Writer Sam Greisman, son of actress Sally Field, tweeted his own scathing response to Davis, quoting a Pop Crave post:

“Not this hideous bitch again.”

Cohen’s remarks reflect the broader backlash from LGBTQ+ advocates and allies against Davis’ renewed attempts to undo marriage equality—an issue that continues to provoke controversy nearly a decade after the Supreme Court’s historic decision.
